No, but after the Norman invasion, many thousands are reported to have migrated to southern Scotland from northern England to escape the tyranny.

No, not really. Just a few Border reiver families crossing the lawless no-man's land frontier.

A few of the Anglo-Saxon nobility fled. Most normal people stayed put though. I think this set the start for Anglo-Scottish rivalry - bitter Anglo-Saxon nobility in Scotland who despised the Norman nobility of England.
