Want to Homeschool where to start?

My oldest is only 2 but before i know it she is gonna be ready to start school, she is very smart for her age and can do things most kids her age can't so i want to start her early. Where do i start? What curriculum do we use? Any suggestions or help is welcomed.

At 2, I'd never call it "homeschooling". ;) Just teach her through play right now. There is so much a child can learn through play: sharing, colors, counting, letters, letter sounds, shapes, etc. If she can already count, start teaching her one to one correspondence, such as counting steps as she climbs them or counting the spoons when she helps set the table. Use playdoh, crayons, and finger paints. Let her tear paper and glue it on with a glue stick. Using scissors at this age could frustrate her, so wait until she is 3 before introducing them. Read stories to her and then act them out with her. Give her easy puzzles. Work on gross motor skills through things like kicking a ball, practicing Yoga together, bouncing a ball, catching a ball, dancing, etc. Make lacing shapes for her and give her yarn to lace them. Practice with her things like buttoning, snapping, and zipping. Teach her songs that have movement and you can clap the rhythm. This list is by no means comprehensive, but I hope it can give you a start.

At that age I wouldn't suggest any set curriculum. If you want to plan ahead while doing the above, I would suggest looking up the homeschooling laws in your state. See if there is anything that you need to begin preparing for or looking into. Some states already have a set curriculum that they require parents to purchase. If yours doesn't, then I would begin to start looking at various educational philosophies, try to pinpoint your child's learning style, and start trying to identify strengths and weaknesses.
