Also, Buddha was born a Sakyan prince (Indo-Scythian (Scythians were the direct ancestors of Slavs)) north of Benares at Kapliavastu. Often, he is referred to in Buddhism as Shakyamuni Buddha or "The Awakened One of the Shakya/Sakya Clan." I'm a buddhist myself, btw.
