Armenoid type basically, and I suppose he could fit into Turkey, Northern part of the Levantine, and parts of the Caucasian region.

I have the same opinion of GeistFaust. My first impression is he could be a Turkish. He looks like an Armenoid+Mediterranoid.

I take it he could fit into parts of the Levant, the Caucasus, Turkey and parts of South Europe(Cyprus, Crete and Malta).

Armenoid with a stronger than average Arabid influence, but in this these pictures he looks more Dinarid-like:

He looks Armenian or Turkish. Is he Greek, though?

He is Armenian.

But his surname sounds Greek and not Armenian. Anyway, he does look Armenian.

I just don't see the Arabid, what part? I have seen a lot of Arabs and I just don't see it.

Thought he had a slight 'semitic smile' caused by the denture form.

LOL at some people and their "Arabic" guesses!

LOL at some people and their "Arabic" guesses! It doesn't mean 'Arabic'. It's not even that exotic a type. I don't know why people have such a hissyfit.

I can say this the other way around... I don't know where do people see Arabid influence, meaning of course Semetic or MENA. This is Arabic:

This is Arabic: Suggestions of the lips, dental structure, nose, but I don't think he just one type. Saying he has an influence because he isn't dark-skinned as in the picture of those individuals doesn't amount to anything.

Yes, although it's not the denture form but the fossa canina which cause this kind of 'sharp' look.

If these pits (fossa canina) above the outer corners of the mouth are exaggeratedly deep, the impression of a Semitic facial character is made when smiling.

In a less pronounced form, this trait is not at all uncommon among leptomorphic European types.

On the contrary, Siberians and Amerindians are basically the only racial groups which have very shallow fossa canina, without any tendency to what Bertil Lundman called 'Semitic smile'. It's not typical for Baltids, Faelids and other Cromagnoid variants either.

The Mesolithic Combe Capelle skull already had relatively deep fossa canina, as far as I can judge this.

I have seen pictures of Melanesians and northern West Africans (like the musician Cheikh Lo (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Cheikh+Lo&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch) for example) possessing this trait, so it's not quite as 'Semitic-exclusive' as Lundman claimed it to be.

With regard to Mark Geragos, it may also be noted that he has quite full lips akin to those of Yassir Arafat and the highly arched eyebrows typical of Arabids.

If those are deeper, the ends of the mouth might go up differently when smiling/laughing, together with the general lip-mouth shape, thats part of the "Semitic smile".
...
Nordids should tend towards a deeper fossa canina too.
