A pair of space telescopes to be launched later this month will help to answer some of the biggest questions in the Universe – such as how did we get to where we are now, and where are we likely to end up.

The article is good, but it has an odd and misleading title.

In fact the opposite is true: telescopes see into the past. The further away an object is, the further you are looking into the past when observing it. Some of the far-away stars that we are currently seeing may no longer even exist, but we won't ever know it.
