Seeing the name "Calogero" (typical sicilian name of greek origin) and the surname (sicilian one), i assume he's from southern extaction.

It's actually of 100% italian heritage?

Slightly Dinaricized Atlanto-Mediterranid with a robust Alpinoid influence, and I could see why someone might say Dinaro-Atlantid, but he fits more in the Atlanto-Mediterranid range overall.

He would fit well in Southern Italy (Sardinia, Sicily, Calabria ...). I guess he is Dinaricized Med altered with Berid admixture.
