He was an Austrian Jew but his features are more in line with Atlantic peoples, in my opinion.

He looks to be a Dinaricized Atlantid or North Atlantid type. In this picture you can clearly see the Dinarid, but there seems to be a North Atlantid influence involved. It almost makes him look pseudo-Norid, but you can tell he is clearly a bit more on the Dinarid side.
