I have subscribed for years to the newspaper "Nordstjernan". Occasionally, I will post interesting (I hope) and relevant stories in this section from the paper. Enjoy!!
Here is a story about games/sports Vikings (http://www.nordstjernan.com/news/organizations/1205/) played for leisure. I think I could picture a get-together of Apricians, lots of mead flowing and a round or two of "pull the sun over the mountain"!!
Here is the website of the club "Telge Glima" (http://www.klubben.se/public_club/default.asp?id=616&p1=10&p2=931) which "has about 20 members who has come together with a mutual interest in history and an interest to practice and show old sports and games." They are located in Södertälje.
