Tooji Keshtkar (24) is Norway's artist chosen to sing in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan in May this year, with his oriental style melody "Stay".
Tooji won the national vote after the Melody Grand Prix final national contest in Oslo Saturday, with an overwhelming 155,480 votes, against the 90,046 votes secured by his nearest rival, Nora Foss Al-jabri (16), who had been the favourite of the contest jury.
A country-western duo made up by Norwegian singer Petter Řien and the US veteran Bobby Bare placed third in Saturday's national final at Oslo Spectrum.
Tooji's parents came to Norway as refugees from Iran, when he was just one year old.
The Eurovision Song Contest takes place in Azerbaijan's capital Baku on May 26th.
