Unforgiven. Clint is at his best in this one.

Trying to leave the past behind, a weary gunfighter goes to work as a farm hand for a homesteading family. But he finds that he has wandered into the middle of a Wyoming range war, and he must act.

I agree with Count Arnau, but this one was very good in my opinion from the recent ones:

In many ways Marion Michael Morrison was a greatly under-rated actor, whose biggest role was (of course) John "The Duke" Wayne. :)

And then this movie, which was pretty close to fact rather than legend...with a lot of embellishment, like this scene:

Soldier Blue

because it shows reality: bad european settlers that invaded a land and exterminated its innocent natives.

I've watched it at school 2 years ago.

No, it's the post by a person who knows about the famous Sand Creek massacre.

Or rather one interpretation of reality. Know the difference.

Terminally ill with cancer, a dying gunfighter rents a room in a boarding house to live out his last days in peace, but various tormentors just won't have it. Instead of dying of the disease, he decides to make his final curtain call in the way he knows best. It's a cliché, but this movie is a testament of man's inhumanity to man.

This is John Wayne's last film, and one of his best. Directed by Don Siegel.

It's not one interpretation of reality.

How did natives become the 2.8% of American population?
The answer is GENOCIDE.

Don't politicize this thread with that hackneyed crap.

Thank you.
