Istria has always been an interesting place.

Very multicultural region (in the good sense of the term, not like London or Paris), with great influences by italians, austrians, slovenian/croatians and istroromanians (this last very mysterious culture, i want to know more about these people).

Istroromanians, as I child i came across them a few times close to Hambariste, they spoke some language that sounded close to Italian but was different.

I think I will post some thing up on them, they are a subject worth studying.
