Shetland Islanders have the best quality of life in Scotland. According to new research, residents have a greater chance of being employed, earn more and enjoy better health.

East Dunbartonshire also made the top ten followed by East Renfrewshire and East Lothian. Experts say house prices in these areas attract a premium, selling for more than the average Scottish house price which is currently £165,000.

Higher Earnings, better health, good education results and low rates of housebreaking.

These were just a few of the factors that took the Shetland Islands to the top of a new study
rating the quality of life in different parts of Scotland.

Researchers examined factors such as the local employment market, housing, environment, education and health, in an attempt to determine which areas had the highest living standards.

The Shetland Islands topped the list in Scotland, ahead of Aberdeenshire, which came in second and East Dunbartonshire, which was third.

The Orkney Islands was fourth on the list for quality of life, followed by East Renfrewshire, East Lothian, the Scottish Borders, Midlothian, Moray and Angus.

Unlike many of the other highly ranked areas, property prices in Shetland were 24% lower than
the Scottish average meaning residents continue to benefit from good value for money housing.

Going to a foreign or non-white owned (they usually are non-white owned) business and giving them money for a service you don't even need is hypocritical according to our own goals. Simply, if you buy a kebab or an Indian you are funding multiculturalism. I'm not really bothered if you lot think this is an excessive moral attitude. Because it's really a question of backing up your convictions with actions and not just satisfying your own irrational and materialistic needs.
