Interesting, because she did something have off of her, but this does not change the classification, and I must say its interesting that a lot of Maori/British Islander mixes tend to show the British Islander side being more dominant.

Gordon was born in Mackay to Bronwyn and Ray. She has an older brother, Ben.[1] Her father was born in New Zealand and is of Māori descent.

Maoris are Polynesians. But the question is, how much Maori descended is her father.
