La/le città più bella/e d'Italia?

Secondo voi, qual'e' la/le città piu' bella/e italiana/e?
Inoltre, qual'e' la/le regione/i piu' bella/e d'Italia?

Io credo che le piu' belle siano Venezia e Firenze. Roma e' molto bella ma non mi sono piaciuti il rumore e l'atmosfera della citta' (benché i siti storici siano straordinari).

Se io dovessi scegliere la citta' che mi e' piaciuta meno, sarebbe Napoli, solo perché quando sono andato, mi ha sembrato che c'erano molti borseggiatori (non mi sono sentito sicuro) i le strade erano molto sporche (be, nelle parti che ho visitato). Ma il paesaggio e i siti archeologici nei paraggi sono magnifici! Direi che questa regione e' la piu' bella geograficamente.

Napoli è una grande città, purtroppo versa in condizioni che la pregiudicano molto.
Io direi venezia o roma, la seconda purtroppo è cambiata molto ed è una giungla d' asfalto invivibile sotto molti aspetti.

Le cittadine artistiche/storiche di Veneto, Piemonte, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli e Lombardia sono molto sottovalutare in favore di altre che meritano di meno.

A me Firenze personalmente piace, ma secondo me è troppo pompata: il centro storico versa in condizioni assurde e grazie all'assenza di piani regolatori è facile trovarsi un megapalazzo decadente stile anni '60 di fianco a uno del Brunelleschi o del Vasari...io personalmente preferisco Napoli a Firenze.

I pity not having visited Italy properly, it's such a great and diverse country it's definitely at the top of my list when it comes to tourism..unfortunetly I've only been to Rome (for slightly over one week) and I loved it.

Su Trieste concordo, ci sono stato otto anni fa un po' per caso (era sulla strada per la Croazia e la Slovenia) e l'ho trovata interessantissima e molto vivibile, tra le migliori d'Italia forse. Su Genova sarò di parte ma è stata capitale per sette secoli di una fiorente repubblica che ha persino finanziato parte della colonizzazione dell'America meridionale, si respira storia vera nel nostro centro cittadino anche se l'amministrazione comunale punta quasi tutto su roba nuova e un po' "neutra" come l'Acquario... Poi Venezia, la vecchia rivale :D, è una città bellissima, senza tempo. La Toscana in generale è un'altra area fantastica. Al contrario di tanti mi piace anche Torino, molto severa e un po' lontana urbanisticamente dallo stile italiano, ma con degli spunti interessanti. Roma comunque è una città stratosferica, è vero che si è un po' degradata ma il solo dire "Roma" significa metà storia dell'Europa (e forse qualcosa in più... :thumbs up)

Si, anche Siracusa mi attira.

Il centro storico di Palermo ha cattedrali che sono veramente meravigliose per non parlare del mare della provincia, peccato che Mondello in estate diventi affollata.
Catania è una città barocca, ma comunque in zona c'è di meglio, oltre Siracusa, Noto ad esempio e tutto il resto della zona barocca come Ragusa Ibla e Modica.
Infine è giusto citare Agrigento.

Palermo is my personal favorite, but I am biased, so I will go with Rome. Living there, waking up in the morning, one almost has to pinch themselves to make sure it's not a dream.

Rome is a lot safer than Naples. The latter is run by the Camorra, while the former is run by the government. Granted, while the Italian government are gangsters in their own right, they're less likely to murder you or set your store on fire.

In terms of formal beauty, nothing on the peninsula tops the Vatican City.

This is likely true. I've been told by cousins still in Sicily that Palermo is one of the less safe places on the island and that the cities on the eastern coast are considerably safer.

Palermo is safe. I had no problem going out at night, even after midnight. In fact, Palermo has the best nightlife in all of the Republic of Italy, as it has the largest percentage of young people living there of all big cities. Inexpensive to have a good time, as well... unlike on the East Coast.

Mafia exists to some extent, sure, but they don't bother you unless you get involved in their business. Camorra in Napoli is worse.

I can name dozens of fun things to do in Sicily that are better than alternatives in Campania. Who wants to go to Vesuvius when Etna is an active volcano? Big deal, Pompeii ruins. That's all they have?

Agrigento is beautiful. I've spent plenty of time there. Among my favorite cities in Sicily.

I've been to Valley of the Temples twice. It's said that they have some of the best preserved Ancient Greek temples in the world, but having never been to Greece, I can't compare.

Vienna is on the same level as Bucharest. It is a Balkan town with bad muncipal management and a high crime rate. Corruption is also widespread. Only the city centre is nice.

Milano on the other hand is a town for rich people. It is very clean but also expensive, which means living maintanence costs are high.

I prefer Rome, although admittedly in much of the city it is more of a graveyard mourning the loss of a great empire than it is a vibrant, modern city.

I think that Toscana is amazing, ah the green pastures... Been to both Firenze and Siena and they were very impressive, the former more than the latter.

The one I liked least was Trieste, it's just... way too much gray. Besides, Triestini downright hate us xD
