This site has over 128 lessons. I don't like their first one on pronunciation, and I haven't checked many of the lessons out, but this site uses the official standard dialect (An Caighdeán Oifigiúil) and I'm sure it's helpful and one can learn a lot provided they supplement their learning with readings, and songs.

If only I had the time...

Common excuse (unfortunately amongst the Irish themselves).

There's always time for Gaeilge.

I might take a wee whack at it, I'm more inclined to learn German though since I participate more in the events of my mother's family, they used to have scripture readings and such in German and conduct German influenced celebrations, the last German speaker, fluent, in that family was my great grandparents, they're dead now, so I'm considering learning to revive some old times.

One Celtic language is enough for me thanks! :thumb001:

There's only a certain amount of phlegm a mouth can produce. :p

Sláinte,

Thank you for posting this.

My father is from an area in Ireland where Gaelic is still spoken. He does well with it. I, however, don't. So when I have some free time over summer, I'll be sure to visit this site.
