Genetically we have one of the most differences from north to south (in a genetic cline of course) in all of Europe (& you add Sardinia and then it gets even more diverse). I focus on Southerners & Sicilians because I feel that they are closest to being "my people."
& although there may be Arab influences in a lot of Neapolitan Neomelodica music you are discounting the fact that another reason for similarities might be that Arabs (the music-producing ones such as Egyptians and Lebanese) are from the Mediterranean region which has never been disconnected. So it is better to simply leave it as "Mediterranean"-sounding. Haven't you heard modern Greek music?

The girl is clearly admixed, she, by no means, can be of any part of Southern Europe. In Naples there are a lot of mix with africans and North africans. Guys look regular Italians/S.Italians
