Greetings Everyone,

I recently joined the forum, and I must say it's a very interesting place. I found it while searching for European preservation sites.

I'm a 42 year old (proud & devoted) mother from the Northeastern United States. I've always had a strong interest in history and heritage. I have a BA degree in History with a minor in English. I currently work as a professional writer, both fiction and non-fiction, mostly with a historical flare. :thumb001:

My father and his family are from Western Ireland. Paternal side, fully Irish. My mother's family was from Austria/Southern Germany and Brittany (Celtic), France.

I plan to post a picture of myself soon. I would also love to learn how to add background to my page. I saw some lovely pages with pretty background scenes.

It's a pleasure to be among such wonderful people. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing with all of you!
