Do you have any favourite horse in particular?

I'm adding several samples from different places, for inspiration. I'm not adding ponies.



Arabian horse

Origin: Arabian Peninsula
Features: Distinctive head shape and high tail carriage; good nature, quick to learn, willingness, sensitivity, endurance
Use: War, trade, equestrian activities, improvement of other breeds by adding speed, refinement, endurance, and strong bone.

American Quarter horse

Origin: USA
Features: Strong but refined, great sprinter
Use: Racing, rodeos, shows, ranch work
Nickname: America's horse

Pure Spanish or Andalusian horse

Origin: Andalusia
Features: Strongly built, compact yet elegant, long thick manes and tails, athletic, vigorous
Use: War, diplomacy, dressage, bullfighting, show jumping, movies
Nicknames: Horse of Kings

Origin: England
Features: Tall, slim, athletic, hot-blooded, agile, fast
Use: Racing

Origin: Friesland
Features: Black, powerfully muscled, agile with elegant action, thick mane and tail, feather on lower legs
Use: War, carriage, dressage, show, movies

Cavalo Puro Sangue Lusitano (Pure Blood Lusitano Horse)

Origin: Portugal.
Features/breed standard: noble, generous and ardent, but always gentle and able to support duress.
Use: bullfighting, equestrian sports (dressage, jumping, eventing), haute école, hunting, combat, work with cattle, Portuguese equitation.

There are two types of horses in Portugal:

a smaller one from the mountains of the north, which still lives in the wild in protected areas:
