Nando's is South Africa's competition to KFC, and tastes much better too.

They are notorious for their advertisements which are often banned the same day they air for the first time.

Nando's advertisements have become something to look forward to and are often missed. They tend to take the piss out of the ANC and other political parties.

Here is yet another Nando's ad which came out around Christmas 2011. This time featuring Robert Mugabe, Muammar Gadaffi, Mao Tse Tung, Sadam Hussein, PW Botha and Idi Amin.

I love Nando's advertising!

Apparently some Mugabe supporters disapproved, so it was banned.

Nando's Ramadaan advertisement:

Getting ready for the football world cup in 2010. This one was not banned.

Corrupt ministers of Parliament also do not escape:

EDIT: I meant to post this under the South African section.

This is, sad, corruption is like a decease that spreads endlessly.

The video is funny and true tho.

I LOVED this ad! I wonder what Nando's is going to come up with next.

OMG, the dictator one and Ramadan one are hilarious!

I will post the Ramadan one on my Muslim friends' Facebook walls next year. :D

Great ads indeed. Good to know there are still some people willing to do good (and more specially not fucking PC) publicity.

The only problem is that the negro in me craves for some chicken now.
