I stumbled on this video on youtube. How would you classify this greek orthodox christian lebanese woman in the following video? She is at 0:50 in the video.

I would say she is predominantly east-med.. though I was surprised by how little arabid I saw in her. Am i alone in thinking this?

Also, what do you all think of the people at 4:44 onwards? It seems they are lebanese christians of various sects. Thoughts?

Probably she isnt Arab but rather some other ethnicity with some arabic mix.

Eastern Mediterranean mix of various past groups. Phoenician, Greek ancestry. Not a Maronite though, which means she was a city-dweller and hence likely to be of the Hellenized class in the past- since Arabized in the Middle Ages.

Surprised? No. I've been saying on this forum that M.E. christians didn't mix with Arabs, and the ones that did were absorbed in the Arab culture and gene pool in to obscurity.

Extremely beautiful. Absolutely my type! Resembles Sarah Shahi, only much less masculine. I would rate her 9/10.

I forgot to add that I've been to the place at 5:59. It's a huge statue of Jesus holding his hands out. I also took pictures of the same exact view of Beirut as seen in the video.

I'm intruiged by the renewed interest in this old thread I started a while ago. To add some food for thought, what do you all think of these other Greek Orthodox Lebanese? *Note* I don't know if this counts as 'cherry picked' but I basically looked up any famous (or not so famous) lebanese people I could think of and put all the Antiochan Greek Orthodox ones here - So of course I cannot comment if they are/aren't 'typical' for their ethnoreligious-based identity or not. Perhaps you all can offer your thoughts?

Nancy Ajram has had work done, so we can't really classify her. Oh, and btw, Antun Saddeh is the founder of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party which my grandma's side is part of.

All of them have East med but Cyrine Nour has Dinaric influence, Helen thomas has Armenoid influence, and Saddeh..something european.

I agree mostly, though I feel Cyrine is more Asian Alpinoid than dinaroid... at least in the imgs i've seen. Agreed with the rest though.

Everyone posted here looks Lebanese. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I could think of plenty more "European-looking" examples, like William Hawi.
