I received an invitation to join this forum, and, lo and behold, here I am! It took me a couple of days to get around to joining, but I made it. I'm Rob, from Syracuse, NY, a fine Anglo fellow- if a bit of self-boasting is aloud, and I'm looking forward to some fine politically incorrect, Eurocentric discussions here. :thumb001:

Self boasting is "allowed," :p welcome to The Apricity don't mind the spelling Nazis that reside here! We have plenty of those discussions, hope you enjoy them.

Welcome! I think you'll find the discussions here a lot more lively and in depth than at the other forum (as well as just more volume). Enjoy!

Thanks for the welcomes, I think I'll fit right in here- provided I don't get lost in the immensity of the forum. It seems to be a pretty big one.

A word to the wise as far as forum navigation goes...

I've found that the easiest way to keep track of what's going on is to view new posts in two phases. First, I'll check my "User CP," to see what threads that I've created or already posted in have new posts.

Second, I'll click the "Unread Posts" tab to view all of the other new threads and posts that have been made since the last time I checked.

I find this to be much easier than wandering around the frontpage roaming through sub-forums. However, if you're wanting to go through old topics, wandering is the way to go! :thumb001:

I've hit on checking out my CP, it's similar to some other forums I post on. Although this is a big place, kind of like Kongming's Archives if you've ever been there. :thumbs up
