Well, America is demographicaly different all over. Its possible, they could fit in, in a certain town in California or San Diego that has a decent amount of North italians. A state like Washington though? Most washingtonian whites are North euro stock...a lot pale...Germans, Scandinavians, & Anglos & have rather pinkish undertones. Not really olive dominant :lol:

Actually I think that the bad light makes them darker than they really are. True northern Italians are generally pink skinned.

Northern Italians in the US would probably be taken for French Canadian or something. I can't imagine what else people would mistake them for, since they do not look like most Italian Americans here.

Well most people when sweat(I presume they're since they're playing Volleyball) tend to assume a pinkier skin tone.

By pinkier you mean reddish? In that case I might agree with you but then I come to same conclusion because Portuguese also get reddish when they play Volley, even if it's half-time. So I don't think it's a discriminating variable.
