The weird thing is, I have seen Basques look like them. But the Basque Country and Iberia are located nowhere near Georgia.

Georgians have the highest West Asian scores of everyone, and they don't look all that woggy so in my opinion the West Asian component is not really a "dark" one.

Yes, that was my impression at first at least according to pictures on TA because I have never been to Georgia.
Other West Asians have high levels of "other" admixture ( except Georgians who are 70% West Asian and the remaining is mosty what we call European ) so if one wants to see how alien is this component it is best to see it on Georgians rather on West Asians as a whole.

I think the "woggy" look comes from Southwest, not West Asian. Since many of these Georgians can fit anywhere in Southern Europe and the same does not hold true for Armenians.

It must. the 20% or so of Southwest Asian in Armenians, Assyrians, etc. is the reason they probably do not look as European as Georgians.

Of course they are more in the MENA spectrum so they look Maghrebis here. I, as a Moldavian don't pass in France either so if you tell me these Georgians can pass in Brittany then I can pass in Scandinavia les doigts dans le nez. :coffee:

Both of them can fit as Albanian especially the women.This confirms the Caucasus origin of Albanians.
