She would resemble my dad, then, which she doesn't too much. However, I must admit, there is a slight CM influence I haven't noticed.

She seems to be of Transylvanian saxon stock, but also could have some banat germans..
I took her for a northwestern german.
She has some similarities to my mom.

She might be an extremely swarthy Romanian with an odd nose shape like that (which there are quite a couple) but her look is more common amongst gypsies.

Why Hungarian derived? I don't get it.

Lol.
No romanian women from these posted have gypsy ancestry.
You are making confusions between caucasian look and gypsy look.

She would be very typical in Transylvania, i've been there and her look is very common.

In Transylvania in old times a lot of Armenians lived who were converted to Catholicism and assimilated.

Just one quote:

Armenierstadt

(Hungarian, Szamos-Ujvar, Latin, Armenopolis).

A city in the Transylvanian county of Szolnok-Doboka, situated on the upper Szamos, an eastern tributary of the Theiss, and the seat of a Uniat Greek diocese (Armenopolis) that embraces the northern part of Transylvania; the see is suffragen to the Archbishop of Fogaras and Alba Julia, who resides at Blasendorf. The city was founded about 1700 by Armenians who emigrated at the beginning of the fourteenth century from Armenia and settled first on the banks of the Krim and Moldau. In the second half of the seventeenth century they moved to Transylvania, and after a two years' struggle on the part of the Armenian-Catholic Bishop Auxentius Veerzereskul, they were converted to Catholicism...

By the Bull "Ad Apostolicam Sedem" (26 November, 1853), the city became a diocese. The first bishop was Johann Alexi (1854-65); he was succeeded by Johann Vancsa (1855-68), Pavel (1872-79), and Johann Szabo, appointed in 1879 (b. 16 August, 1836). The diocese of Armenierstadt contains about 683,300 inhabitants; 432,900 Catholics of the Greek-Roumanian Rite, 41,100 of the Latin Rite, and 1,600 of the Armenian Rite. It has one cathedral, six canonicates, four titular abbeys, one formal provostship, forty-five deaneries, 490 mother churches, 391 dependent churches (Filialkirchen), one monastery with four monks (Basilian Order, in Bikszad), 475 pastors, 25 chaplains, one regular priest, eleven other ecclesiastics, and 64 clerics. The bishop directs a diocesan academy with seven professors, one teacher's training college, with four professors, one Armenian-Catholic Ober-Gymnasium, and about 600 public schools, with 38,900 pupils.

^ i also saw a strong germanic and hungarian influence in Transylvania, especially culturally and linguistically, in Cluj Napoca (capital of Transylvania) they speak more hungarian than romanian, and often also german. Also the architecture looks very Mitteleuropean, unlike Bucuresti and the south which is closer to Bulgaria in all senses.
Btw i fell in love with Transylvania, it's a very fascinating and "gothic" imo, i went in August and it was cold and dark, just my taste ;D

Dacul

Well actually in Cluj most are romanians so I think is just something weird that you saw more people speaking hungarian than romanian.I had in Cluj some relatives and I was there sometimes and I did not saw more people speaking hungarian.
And the germanic influence is because Austro-Hungarian Empire ruled Transylvania for a long period of time.

"Germanic" is a wide term, you should know it. The architecture, the food and many other things are very mitteleuropean in Transylvania.
I still remember that also many LOCAL newspaper (not for tourists) were written in both languages, romanian and hungarian (and sometimes also german). What is wrong with it??? I find this culture very rich and interesting, more than south Romania to be honest.

She's an ethnic Armenian. Looks exactly what she is, a Middle Easterner. Darkest Romanians have similar phenotypes (tribute of Neolithic expansion), so it's not an uncommon look, but far from typical.

Well, that's where the misunderstanding came from, then. I've seen dark Romanians where my family comes from, but this look is reserved for gypsies over there.
