He definitely looks from countries predominantly on the Mediterranean spectrum, but I would see it as a combination of Southwestern and South-Central, although somewhere on the Northern periphery of South-Central Europe.

Not really, he looks more like a Northern Italian, the kind that are a mixture of Germanic & Mediterranean.

I know he's not from North of Italy, but Rocco Siffredi is a similar type, this guy looks more Italian than Iberian-Basque.

in fact, Ricardo no resemblance in nothing to a type common Basque, except for the natural look that shares any European.

people are thinking about his last name, of Basque origin, but, anyone know if he have real Basque blood? possibly is highly diluted, Basque surnames can be found frequently in Seville and does not mean that their blood is Basque, Wikipedia is very vague about the origin of his parents.
