Gerd Müller is a former german football player who played mostly for Bayern München, he was called "the bomber" because he had a very powerful (and accurate) shot. He is "pretty short" (still slightly taller than me lol), so he used this to his advantage, as he has a low centre of gravity he could outmaneuver other players and pass by them.
