It makes sense that you would be mostly Anatolian/Caucasus, especially due to the close relationship between Assyrians and Armenians.

Assyrians are not caucasus nation.They were influenced by anatolian and caucasus tribes as much as other middle eastern nations were i.e jews,arabs..etc

The maps show that he has the same amount of similarity to europeans that he has to caucasus people.

We have both the approx. the same amount of European DNA and are both 99% Caucasian on 23andME but i fit in Europe (my strongest points in Italy, darkest red points) and you fit in Middle East, how is that explained?

Despite the fact that we're not a Caucasus nation. I think that our genetic relationship to Anatolia and the Caucasus, cannot be denied. Now I'm not suggesting that Armenians and Assyrians are the same people, we are not. The Iraqi Jews, Iranian Jews, Iraqi Mandaeans, Druze, Samaritans, and even many Levantine peoples, derive a tremendous portion of their ancestry from that area.

Acutlaly Inquiring Mind, I'm not even close to being as European as you. It's just that some of the ancestral components that comprise my ancestry, are coalescing into the European category. Probably the "Mediterranean" component.

You are 55% im 63%, not a big difference and you score similar values in total similarity to bergamo italy and tuscany italy as me.:)

Im also not Italian but the genetic map indicates that im from there when im from balkans actually:)

I thought about it again, probably because Italians got a "strong MENA" Component, observable in my "World Admix Table Thread".... so if you count my MENA as bleedthrough from Europe it makes me like 80% "Italian"..... And your MENA is real Middle East Ancestry.... thoughts?

I think its all in relation to the other parts of the world i just fit there better than in lets say africa or mena doesnt mean i fit there really.
