Terminator 4 ("Salvation" would be misleading :))

Mediocre. By no means does it do justice to the terminator series. The storyline is simple, the acting is passable, the dialogue tries but stays insipid and the special effects are pretty basic by today's standards. It's essentially just a result of the "explosions over plot" approach to a film series well worth the time and effort to make a good film. It will leave you feeling very vacuous unless you're on drugs or something. The whole series should just have concluded with the second film. Never expect a proper ending for any franchise from Hollywood, they are evidently more interested in capitalising on the success of good movies so they keep making sub-par sequels. It gets a 5 out of 10.

Norwegian terror film, Død Snø, Dead Snow, in english. Where a group of eight friends drives to a cabin in northern Norway where German troops where slaughtered by angry locals living there in 1945. Now the undead zombie Nazi soldiers feast on whoever comes there way.

The film is not good there, but not so mediocre. If I'm not wrong, it was considered a little bit anti-german, by the German media.

We watched Oliver Stone's W last night. It was quite dull, to be honest. The most surprising thing about it was how positively Bush Sr. was portrayed.

Considering the dim subject material the poor director must have done the best he could. :D

A Tim Burtonish movie. Nice and colorful animation but the script was mediocre in my opinion. Wasn't very satisfied..

I watched "Shooter" yesterday. I'd say a good action movie with some critical voices in it, liked the story and ending, yet how everything worked out at the end in particular had some logical fallacies and being quite unrealistic.

But worth to watch if you like anti-Establishment action movies :thumbs up

Terminator aswell and disappointed too. I would have expected a better performance from someone who played Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. So yes, Christian Bale was not at his best role.

Now, I'd like to go watch the night at the museum 2.

The Signal -- A surprisingly good low budget horror.

Valhalla Rising by Nicolas Winding Refn will premiere sometime this summer

Winding made the excellent Pusher trilogy so I have high hopes.

Valhalla Rising? I remember reading the Dirk Pitt novel by Clive Cussler that has the same name. I liked that book. But I imagine that this is something else entirely.

Last night, we watched both Kill Bill movies, as we had wanted to watch something with David Carradine in it, since he just died. :(

Did you had the feel that the new pope and the cardinal-elector both where real illumanti?

I watched Teriminator 4 today. Could have been better, but I think most negative comment comes from people who do not like the idea that Arnold is not playing a large role in it.

Troy failed to really impress me because half of the characters (the deities) were left out of the story.

Just saw Sherlock Holmes...surprisingly, it was pretty good and Jude Law did not look frighteningly gay, the way I expected him to :ohwell:
