The first girl is an example of one of the more "extreme" looks that some on here have said Calabria has more of than the rest of the Italian south.

Greece. The second one might pass in my country. (not Kosovo but Macedonia :D)

If this guy was Maltese he would've been easily classified as:

Araberberidlevantine

I personally think Calabrese are the most "Greek" descended of all Italians, and probably some of the closest in terms of genetics and appearance to the Ancient Greeks, along with Greek islanders and Peloponnesians.

That man is not naturally dark skinned. Here is photo of him with a decent light.

I don't think he does. To me he looks kind of Balkan-like.

I don't think he looks Balkan. He looks what he is, southern Italian.

Very Calabrian looking.

Indeed. He looks like some of the men of similar age that you would expect to see in the Greek islands (Rhodes, Chios etc)

calabria was greek-speaking until a few centuries ago. they also cluster closest to greeks. some more extreme examples do have a strong israeli / levantine vibe

Nonetheless he would still be classified as araberberidlevantine as a Maltese, if you know what I mean.Anyway it's not his skin colour what I'm referring to but specially his features.

Berber? No way, especially your average 15-20% black admixed berber. Levantines? Yes, as a light atypical type.

This man can fit from N.Italy to Cyprus.

HAH, bitch please I'm tired of your superiority complex you have towards us Maltese, Southern Italians can be as wogs as Maltese are, so please do me a favour and accept your woggish nature, eh?

Amusing, really.

I personally cannot tell the difference between Maltese, Sicilians, and Calabrese.

Generally speaking, I think they could fit peripherally in southern france & in the levante.
They are closest to Corsicans, Sardinians, North Italians, Maltese, Greeks & Cypriots imo.
