Important thread in my opinion. If you are like any men a fan of James Bond and Ian Flemming's novel, you have to tell us what was your favorite bond ever. Please argue as well, this is going to be interesting. :thumb001:

Mine was :

Goldeneye was excellent, excellently played by Pierce Brosnan best James Bond by far. And closely followed by Goldfinger too, Sean Connery was a legend.

Timothy Dalton, for the note, on the other hand was rather ridiculous.

Goldeneye by far was the best one in the James Bond movies. I still remember me and my mates getting together after school and pretending we were characters in the movie trying to stop the badguys. Was always a fan of James Bond. He is like the top of my childhood heroes. :D

I heart 007.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service gets my vote. It's the closest a Bond movie will ever get to Fleming's novel.

every sean connery one except for DR. NO thought it was absolute shite, then comes brosnan, and i'd have to say goldeneye as well as die another day are my second fav category after mr. connery of course.

daniel craig is alright, i like the somewhat realistic approach bond movies are portraying nowadays, but its time for a new bond.. wonder who it will be.. maybe we should start a thread about which european actor would fit the new bond role.

yes i am a bond maniac.. and i also cherish all my bond figurines in mint condition in the box.. my most cherished one being my aston martin db5.. and no i am not a 40 year old, or a virgin.

DR. NO

When i was in the army we had a medical officer who was known as Dr No.............you could be standing there with an arm missing and the bastard would still not give you a sick note.

Roger Moore films had the best "vibe". Sean Connery was too heavy and serious. I will vote Goldeneye too, and Pierce was a great 007. And that one with Tim Dalton where they were going all over the world with a Czech babe and a cello. :D

I must say that License To Kill really stands out in the Bond franchise. Dalton did a good job portraying Bond's cold, cruel, and ruthless side. You clearly understand that he's just as bad as his adversaries. And the fact that Bond is on the 'good' side adds further dilemma to the character. Very, very underrated movie.

The Living Daylights, Dalton was a great Bond, showed his darker and more serious side. Too bad he appeared in just two films.

It had that charm of previous Bond films. Especially when he lands on the boat, a Mooreish scene.:)

For me it's Goldeneye, followed closely by Casino Royale (the only problem is that Daniel Craig doesn't look like the James Bond described by Ian Fleming).
