^ Do you see no Amerindian? He also sort of looks SSA in the nose. I may just be imagining this because I know he is Brazilian xD Apart from that though he looks very Portuguese to me.

In some of the pictures he looks fairly exotic to me, but he looks fairly Southwestern/Southern European, and by the way I thought Santoro was an Italian surname?

It is I believe, but he looks a lot more Portuguese than Italian to me

Santoro is a Spanish last name. I think it exists in Naples though due to Spanish influence.

^ I'm pretty sure it's Italian: http://www.gens.info/italia/it/turismo-viaggi-e-tradizioni-italia?cognome=santoro&x=0&y=0

Interesting stuff which I never knew, and I know the Spanish ruled that area for a bit, but I always thought Santoro was a surname that went back to Roman times in Italy.

I would guess he is about 5% amerindian (his eyes). But he is predominantly italian with small portuguese ancestry (which in my opinion is responsible for the amerindian part). There is also a good chance that he has no amerindian at all!

I was right though that it is highest in frequency in Campania. ;)

how is portuguese ancestry resposible for the amerindian part?

He does not and the sentence below explains it.

he is predominantly italian with small portuguese ancestry

how is portuguese ancestry resposible for the amerindian part?

Colonial ancestry.

I guess because most Italian Brazilians arrived around the start of 20th Century so less chance of admixture to Portuguese who had in general been there much longer (although Portuguese immigrants were arriving when Italians were as well). I guess because of this there's more possibility of admixture.

How do we know he is mainly Italian? Santoro is Italian but his middle name (maybe his mother's?) is Portuguese: Junqueira dos Reis.

If someone has amerindian admixture he is not portuguese.
So he couldn't get his amerindian admixture from a portuguese.

That's exactly what I meant. I am not trolling saying portuguese aren't white. We know that he is mainly Italian because I've seen him being honored by a cultural group of Brazilian Italian, which usually honors people who are at least 50% Italian.

Is not guilty the Italian part of Santoro of being mixed with someone amerindian (Portuguese or not), much that has arrived to Brasil in the XX century?

I don't either.

His eyes look a bit asian... looks like Keanu Reeves eyes.

Specially in the last pic. Again, it's also quite possible he has no amerindian at all.

Atlanto-Med + Berid.

His ancestors were from Calabria and Portugal, he may have some Amerindian but very minor.

His eyes kinda resembles Jeremy Davies

Santoro is over 90% euro, that's for sure.

The older he is the hotter he gets. Loved to watch him on HBO's Westworld S1 and S2.

Wikipedia says: "Santoro was born in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro state, to Francesco Santoro, an Italian engineer with roots in Paola, Province of Cosenza, Calabria, and Maria José Junqueira dos Reis, a Brazilian artist of Portuguese ancestry"

wtf? now he looks to me less european than when I saw him at the tv in westworld. Maybe it was that beard. He has chinky eyes, won't lie tbh, but jaw looks gracile med.
