Question: Would you consider her White (for marrying purposes)? Both her parents were jews.

Lamarr means "the sea" (La Mar) it was adopted. She was from Austria.

Indeed. I am no fan of miscegenation but she's the perfect exemple of a perfect mix resulting in perfection :love:. It makes me wonder, Hitler didn't consider these jews to be real "germans". I guess if he was alive he would have rethought pretty much everything of his ideology just by seeing France's example today (negros). He would have considerated jews to be quite Germans :D.

Well I don't if we can go off a basis of "relativity," because even then I think the Nazis would have viewed Jews and Jewish Mischlings negatively. That said the Nazi racial policies were highly inconsistent, and subdued to a subjectivity, which is summed up by Hermann Goering when he declared Erhard Milch was a German.


He said I will declare who is a Jew and who is not, and there were 90,000 1/4rd Jews and 60,000 1/2th Jews in the German military. Some did abandon the military later or were forced out, but it shows how actually inconsistent the Germans were in their racial policies, and rather non-racist.


There were even a few blacks/Mulattoes in Germany, who were allowed to work and go to school, and they have pictures of it all, although there were the Rhineland bastards that were sterilized. Arabs, Indians, and even a few Negroes fought in the Germany army in North Africa, so its quite interesting to study WW2 more indepth.
