That would be great, thanks :) I host them on Photobucket at the moment but when I tried to resize pics, they turned out tiny! Don`t know what I`m doing wrong.

Oh by the way...we already have a Nature Photos's thread, would it be possible to make it sticky, so that anyone could easily find it and post in it?

I promise my winter photos too in a few weeks, winters are way too warm here these days, and I have to rush out with the camera the day it's snowing. :(

Some pics from last year. I held a medieval feast for a number of friends who visited. :) We had an archery competition (prize, bottles of home made mead :D) and music, outdoor fires etc. Good fun!

These are from two years ago now, and have been seen before, but they bring back happy memories for me, of when I had the time to take part in reenactment. This was the Sanday Viking Sunday. :D I`m in the beige wool dress and white cap, and between the fighting we cooked Viking beer and cheese soup over the fire (tastes better than it sounds, trust me ;) )
I had the ladle to keep the crowd back from the fighting...one of the downsides of reenactment today..public liability insurance.

Home. One of the loveliest things about living here are the big skies. Oceans of skyscapes, and you never tire of watching them, for they shift and shimmer each sunrise and sunset. :)
Home is small, but cosy and neat, and best of all for me, isolated. ;)

My wee hof. :) It has flagstones on the ground of it, the entrance faces north..I`ve sat in there some nights watching the Aurora Borealis...:) and there`s a torch sconce on the wall nearby the little hearth. Open to the skies, as it should be.

Has a bull skull in one part of the wall, not seen in the pic, I think, and on the ground, a horse skull, tribute to Odin`s steed Sleipnir :) On dark nights I put tealights in the eye sockets.
Tree trunk wrested from the beach as a seat, no mean prize as this island is treeless. Had to use a tractor to haul it off the sands!
