It was a big mistake of Greek politicians not to expell the Muslim minority after the progrom of 1955, at least those who identify as Turks...being humane towards subhumans is not civillised behaviour, it is stupidity. Look how much trouble they cause in Thrace nowadays and we even let them get in the parliament and support Turkish arrogance against us. We really need a huge transformation in our value system.

What sounds good is that the Muslims that are treated great in here, should be treated the same as those animals treated Greeks back then, and eventually get the fuck over here.

The fact you use a supremely outdated treaty to deny Turks and Pomaks of their ethnic identity is just plain pathetic. It reflects just a very tiny part of Greek racism that is commonplace in Hellass.

You ignorant and stupid monkeydonian know nothing about the muslim minority here. Not only are they allowed to identify with the Turkish scum they think are their ancestors but they get Turkish imams and Turkish teachers for their mosques and schools. They even get seats in the parliament and support Turkish interests against Greek...this is what so called democracy has brought in Greece.

The 1955 pogrom (Turkish: 6-7 Eylül Olayları) was one of the darkest chapters in my country's recent history.

These inhumane and evil acts must never be tolerated.

Why are following the treaty exactly how it is. More than this, we even grant them MORE than we should, by treating a religious minority as it is (Muslim) and as it is supported by a treaty signed by BOTH countries, as an ethnic one, and WE, pay taxes so THEY can have more than 200 minority schools , PLUS religious instititions.

On the other hand, THEY created pogroms, THEY shut down the theological schools (Chalki) .

We respected (and still do) the treaty, they didn't .

So, don't talk to me about that. We are way to good to those uncivilized people. We should do the same as they did :coffee:
