"There are not many hotter places," said a meteorologist of the Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics (ZAMG) of the APA. In Valencia, Spain, it has just over 40 degrees, marginally hotter it is still in Greece. "We are basically the whole summer and early autumn the hottest area of Europe," according to the weather expert :(

It's like an inferno here. I used to be a global warming skeptic, not anymore.

This heat makes me sick, it`s hard to step a foot outside the house at the moment and also indoor it is really a challenge to keep cool.
I don`t know why we have the pleasure to be the hottest part of Europe this year while they are freezing in Great Britain and there are sub average temp. in Portugal.
I even consider emigration because of this damned continental climate

In which part of Austria do you live/spend your time now?

lol. I'd die. No one has AC here and I hate when it gets much above 20 C.

But there is a heat wave ever year here in July-August where we get 30+ C weather and it's terrible.

Here in North Italy(continental part) is horrible too, maybe not as much as Austria but similiar. Today you do not walk, you swim in your own sweat.
