Since when is it legal in Turkey for women to become mp's?

Enjoy it while it lasts. The Islamic radicals will eventually take power.
Since when is it legal in Turkey for women to become mp's?
I will pretend to be naive and answer to your question;
It`s legal since 1934. Turkey is one of the first countries in the world where women received full political rights to vote and be elected. Even the French women had no right to be elected in that time but Turkish women enjoyed this in 1934, thanks to Ataturk;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ataturk_reforms#Women.27s_rights
Some European countries like Italy, France gave this right to women in 1940s and some Balkan countries like Bulgaria, Greece in 1950s, after the WW-2.

If you happened to travel to Turkey, you'd be surprised to see that women enjoy professional freedom much more than in certain European States :p
Also they enjoy great educational opportunities and high standard jobs. ;)

She was Turkey's first female Prime Minister (25 June 1993 – 6 March 1996).

Except 58% of female MPs are members of the Islamist party that already has the power, a higher figure than their overall share of MPs.

It wasn't to you.
But what is wrong to know more artists ?
Mentioned actress didn't take part in Turkish serials, if you mean that, she is theater actress and tv presenter.
I am not fan of turkish serials,but they are very professionaly made. That is recognized by the Bulgarian film critics too.

You sound like a broken record.. "central anatolia is afghanstan, east of ankara is bla bla bla"
Have you ever seen central anatolian cities you ignorant?
central anatolian cities like Eskişehir, Ankara, Kayseri, Konya etc. are far more developed & better than most of your cities.
btw, what's with all this obsession about Turks? Yea i know we conquered&ruled your country for +500 years but it was in the past. Don't feel like a loser just because of this.

Well I am from Asiatic part of Turkey and I already opened 2 different threads of my cities, my maternal line is from Kayseri (Central Anatolia) and paternal side is from Mediterranean part of Turkey Mersin, although we got a certain number of non-Turks in these cities, all-in-all these cities are certainly more developed than some other cities/towns of some Balkan countries :rolleyes:

pBR2fPpHP_I
Xd8Yi3xOAUI
SometimesYes, don't buy Bugarash`s stupid trolling. I saw Bulgaria myself, central Anatolian city of Kayseri is like New York comparing to Sofia. They are using 50-60 year old rusted trams in there as a public transport, leftover from communism era and old unpainted proletarian buildings all around the city and that was their capital city.
How come you know about turkish actors?
American ok,german ok,but who the hell is interested in turkish movies,music...?
