How about a thread for clips from classic movies that we enjoy? :)

I just watched Down Argentine Way last night with Betty Grable and Don Ameche, a cute confection of Good Neighbor propaganda that Roosevelt encouraged pre World War Two. I was really impressed with some of the dancing in it, especially by the Nicholas Brothers. Amazing tap dancing I must say! :thumb001:

Still love this scene from Gilda, with Rita Hayworth "playing" a guitar.

I first watched It Started in Naples when I was 11, and I loved it. Didn't know why I liked Sophia Loren so much. I didn't get to see it again until I was 16. By that time, I sure knew why. The man's action at 1:41 says it all. lol

Blue Skies. Fred Astaire. Phenomenal!

There're greater music numbers in Yankee Doodle Dandy than this one, but this one was always my favourite.

And for something not musical, the final duel in The Raven, with Vincent Price. It blew me away when I was a kid. Doesn't seem like much in 2012, but I still love it.

Felt like posting a silent movie with Mary Pickford, Poor Little Rich Girl.

It Happened One Night. Friz Freleng based Bugs Bunny off of Clark Gable's mannerisms in this scene, and the leg stopping traffic is so iconic it's been parodied more times than I can count. The best scene of one of the best classic movies of all time. :)
