This particular article sounds more like an attempt by the author, a far left 'professional activist', to label anyone who disagrees with him as a 'conspiracy theorist'

The continued unscholarly mislabeling of collectivist political groups as "right wing" is a disappointing and distracting mistake; the GWOT related section is also disappointing, as the author seems to be over-hyping that issue to normalize the whole paper.

This is otherwise a well put together article with decent research, and makes the distinction between the truth at the heart of a conspiracy theory and the conspiracist baggage attached to it.

Anything does doesn't fit the agenda of the ruling elite is 'conspiracy'. And people who are too fucking stupid to think for themselves don't know any better.
