Hollywood has come to Istanbul. Actor Daniel Craig has been in the city to film scenes for the latest James Bond film, ‘Skyfall.’

The plot of the 23rd movie is a well-guarded secret, but outside cameras have captured a glimpse of 007 in action.

Inevitably, when a production of this size rolls into town, there is disruption. It has angered some traders in one of Istanbul’s main squares.

“Since they created the film set, business has stopped. Our clients are calling us and asking if Eminonu Square is closed. Nobody is coming, they are all tourists, there are far fewer locals,” one trader told euronews.

Another local man added: “To abuse people’s rights for a James Bond movie, is really wrong. They should be aware of this. This is like torture for these traders.”

The filming has meant some roads and walkways have been blocked off.

‘Skyfall’ is set to be released internationally in October.

On the other hand it will probably benefit Turkish traders by increasing tourism.

Typical Turkish behavour - crying, complaining, screaming, demanding, taking but never giving, wanting respect but never giving respect.

Please explain how complaining about the disruption a movie set brings to one's working space is not logically expected universal behavior, but instead, just typical of Turks.

Do you want me to order you a punching bag from the net? So you can stick a kurdish man picture on it and unleash your anger against the Turks.

Who cares about the whining of random Turks? They're the b!tches of Western countries. If we want to make movies that happens to disturb their daily dalliances in occupied Constantinople then too bad. Don't forget who's your master, Turks.

Sorry... I meant those evil Western film makers should not have gotten in the way of great Turks who are industrializing their mighty Istanbul!
