I sort of missvoted. I probably should have stuck to Georgia, Greece, and Turkey primarily. Though I would say he'd fit in Armenia, and surely southern/caucasus russia & the crimea.

Caucasus people (except Azeri and some Armenian subgroups) look nothing like Turks and Iranians.

Those are some Georgians, they are the darkest and most exotic from the Caucasian language group, yet way lighter and more Euro looking than Turks and Iranians:
