I lived in Japan for 1 year and even they can't tell. There were a lot of chinese and korean students there and many of them were thought to be japanese by the japanese people, especially those who could speak fluent japanese. We "tested" many native japanese and most of them failed. But of course if you ask any japanese he will tell you he can tell the difference but except in obvious cases that's bullshit. Besides, Japan ruled Korea for many decades and they had what they called "Comfort Women" so there are many japanese bastards in China and Korea...
