Well, I just say Loki's signature link over on Skadi, and thought I'd have a little look-see!

So, many will know me already, but for those who don't I'm from the city of Manchester, and am of English and Irish stock. I'm fascinated by history, philology and archaeology, and once long ago got a degree in the latter plus social anthropology. I have been flitting to and fro between England and Russia for the best part of a decade now and have a great love for all our northern lands with their special beauty.

Now, I wonder what avatar to choose... ;)

Yup, that's what I meant. I had an appointment with Messers Idris and Rhita Fawr, you see... :D

It was also heartwarming to see that Conway Castle is still securely held by the English - the guide who showed us round was from my own town, and his son went to my school. :thumb001:
