There is a new update for the DNA Tribes SNP test out now.

It does offer some refinement, a few more world regions, and some new populations. Not to mention it does have MDS plots now.

http://dnatribes.com/dnatribes-snp-update-august2012.pdf

I just ordered their SNP test for the first time to see how it compares to the likes of Dodecad, Eurogenes, Harappa, etc. Should be very interesting and I am really looking forward to it!

Where is the link with all the new population data? I wanted to highlight some points I found interesting.

I think you are referring to the World Admixture Tables?

It may take a while to load.

Some interesting points I want to make.

South Italians-Greeks-Ashkenazi and Sephardi Jews

Southern Italians have the most of the "East Med"/Levantine component, at 30.7%, of all the Europeans. Greeks have the next greatest amount at 26.1%. But Ashkenazi Jews have 36% and Sephardis have 35%, showing that they are more Middle Eastern than any Europeans. Ashkenazis also have 9.3% "Egyptian" (compare to South Italian 4.8% and Greek 1.2%) and only 24.9% "Iberian"/West Med, while even Greeks have more (37.6%). Sephardis have around 30%. Greeks also have 11% Baltic/Urals, more than either of the other two groups.

Iberians

Iberians are basically a mixture of Northwest European (33.4% for Portugal, 34.8% for Galicia, and 28.6% for Andalusia) and Iberian/West Med (43.3% for Portugal, 46.1% for Galicians, 51.5% for Andalusians), with more North African (9.7%, 9.6%, 6.8% respectively) than either southern Italians (5.5%) or Greeks (3.7%)

The most interesting thing about this analysis is that it lends credence to the perspective that European Jews are not Southeastern European converts but rather Levantine migrants who picked up Southeastern European ancestry along the way.

Poland - 100% European. No Middle Eastern, no East Asian, no African admixture of any kind. Those geniuses which said Poles are Mongols must feel pretty stupid right about now. :D

Peoples bordering the Baltic sea are probably among the 'purest' Europeans. :thumb001:

With the exception of Basks I think you are right.

North Caucasus and Persian look like some mix of North European and West Asian.
Iberian
Sardinia 79.1%
Bergamo 49.1%
Tuscany 41.7%
Basque Spain 60.0%
Basque France 60.5%

This seems like K12b atlanto med but more med than Atlantic.

Yeah I noticed it too. Apparently Lombards have more arabian admix than Tuscans in that run.

I don't think there is but there is this table/chart thing that is probably the closest you will find.

There is a chart on page 19 of this PDF.

Subsaharan African seems to be zero or nearly so in Italy, Greece and Spain.
