Swedes are liberal feminists and socialists. How hard would it be to marry a rich Asian? Does religion matter?

Serbs are Orthodox independent and reserved. Would their be a clash in raising children with a non-Christian, but not Muslim?

I made a tribute ^_^

Oh yeah sure all Swedes... I think some of our Swedish members will disagree with you on that one.

You can't generalize one people, there's a lot Serbs that are not Orthodox and Swedes that not liberal.

Don't know where that stereotype comes from, but I can give you an answer from my perspective.

When answering the headline, I remember when I was about 15/16. Two girls from my class was going to a party with Kurds. They were stopped before though, by their parents. Because they didn't want their daughters to party with "sand apes", the parents said, I remember.

My sister also dated a Muslim before, my dad wasn't really happy about the situation so he started to freeze out my sister from the family and after a while my sister understood she wouldn't be welcome in our house if she was together with him. Some months later she found herself a Swedish boyfriend and my dad treated him nicely :p
I told some friends about it and they all laughed and said they would have done the same as my father.

So the summary of this would be that not all Swedes are liberal with this. Deepest inside I believe only a minority of the Swedish parents are okay with it.

M<y dad would have kicked her out and broken all contacts with her, even if she found herself a nice boyfriend later on.

That post remembers me of preschool and the "my dad is stronger than yours" phenomena :D
