I think she's mostly English American, despite her Italian surname. Henry Fonda was an Anglican (so it's unlikely he was Italian), while her mother had English surname.

Classification: ScandoNordid

She doesn't look north european at all to me, but rather central and balkan. Pred. noric imo, her nose is very dinarid.

Typical English American (Aryan-Iberian mix in his case), despite surname (apparently it's a Frisian surname). He was born Anglican, his mother had English surname, so his Frisian ancestry must be quite remote.

Atlanto-Nordid +Cromagnoid (Paleo-Atlantid,Faelid,Brunn). The CM is not dominant. He could pass as English,French,Dutch and Italian.

The Fonda family had migrated from Genoa, Italy, to the Netherlands in the 15th century. In 1642 they immigrated to the Dutch colony of New Netherland on the East Coast of North America.[3] The Fondas were among the first Dutch population to settle in what is now upstate New York, establishing the town of Fonda, New York. By 1888, most of the Fondas had relocated to Nebraska

Originated near Venice in a place called Fonda. It later spread to the area near Trieste, especially in Pirano (Piran now). The family of Henry Fonda came from Holland, but they were of Genoese origin, but most probably their origin was from Venice or Trieste.

Henry Fonda had distant Dutch ancestry, and the surname Fonda originates from Eagum, also spelled Augum or Agum, a village in the heart of Friesland, a northern province of the Netherlands.

I think this Fonda name is of Dutch origin, not Italian.

The Fondas originated in Genoa, northern Italy.

However they were in the Netherlands from the 15th century so their North European look is no mystery.

Though I read their surname can be traced to Genoa, their ancestors appear to have inhabited Frisia since the 15th century, so it's normal that they fall within the Anglo-Saxon spectrum with Nordic element dominating over CM traits.
