She has a distinctively Iranian nose otherwise she does look Indian. Pred. Irano-Afghan.

She looks fairly Iranian.

She looks more Iranid (the type more common among Pashtuns) with Alpine and possible East Asian influence.
Looks more Afghan than Iranian imo. But not really Indian even though she tries hard.

Afghans have stronger Indo-Pakistani influences than Iran - both genetically and racially. But even then, this actress looks strongly Indian, which is surprising given her background.

Thanks for the input. BUt isn't their an Indo-Brachid element to her? Because she looks much more Nord-Indid than Iranid imo.

It is obviously because she dresses like Indian. Even her make up/mascara is put on in that way to make her appear more Indian. Just compare her to the Indian dancers perfoming with her and you will see the differences. Here this video is better. However I have to admit in Videos she does appear to have some Indian influence yet this influence is small. I think she is mainly Iranid with some Alpine, Mongolid and North Indid influence. This mixture is common among Pashtos and even Tajiks.

She definitely looks more North Indian than Iranian. I don't see any Turanid influences tbh, but I definitely do see some Indo-Brachid ones.

Check out this video (http://youtu.be/IKV2QBX4d2M) and you'll see what I mean. She is dancing with a Half Punjabi Half Sindhi star that looks even less Indian than her.

Don't get confused by the way she dresses.

She is Iranid-Pamirid. Typical for Eastern Iran. Much of her is Iranid, but the eyes show Pamirid influence. With some fantasy there may also be some Asian Alpinoid mixed in...but no Indid.

North Indid is more gracile and dolichocephalic, almost like a dark nordid.
Indobrachid has much wider jaw bones and a wider nose that is not as convex as hers. Indobrachids have a rather a rectangular face, more robust features and a different eye shape.

Can you post an example of Nord-Indid? Sorry but I'm a bit confused, if she can't pass as Indian then maybe I don't know what the "Indian look" is.

This backs even further my argument that Italians and Iranians share the same ape.

I don't think so. Italians look very different imo. Iranians and Indians don't even look alike in general, the overlap is minor.

Yes, but that's because they are all of the Mediterranean race. Salma Hayek is half Lebanese btw.

Something I wanted to note, there are many People in Iran (especially in big cities like Tehran or Shiraz) which are not of ethnic Iranian (do not mistake with Iranic) origin.

As far as I know she only stated to be from Iran but never to be ethnic Persian. There are many Afghans who fled from the war in Afghanistan and reside in Iran. I also mentioned that she clearly looks more Afghan (Pashto or Tajik).

People should not mistake any Person residing in Iran and understandable calling themselves "Iranian" as ethic Iranians. This is as right as considering an South American residing in Spain as ethnic Spaniard when it comes to anthropology.

Here is one of those example which I mean. When I once saw a Documentation about Iran and the youth lifestyle in Tehran one of the first persons appearing on the screen was this Guy here.
http://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uploads/unbenanntss945fip68oe.jpg

Of course there was nothing mentioned about his ethnic background but I can be sure for my self that this young man could never be an usually ethnic Iranian/Persian, yet some people who do not know much about Iranians could think he is an ethnic Persian and pretty common. He looks totally Indid-Weddoid. He reminds me of one of our good Sri Lankan employees (who coincidentally lived also in Tehran for over 20 Years). This Guy would even look out of place in North India let alone Iran.

While the general Iranian on the streets looked like this.
http://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uploads/unbenanntsddzoq0i2lx9.jpghttp://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uploads/unbenanntsss5sc0tj18u9.jpghttp://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uploads/unbenanntssssskwm9ujoi5q.jpghttp://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uploads/unbenannthggtynxm13wgr.jpg

What I am trying to say, if you come across a odd looking Person in Iran it might have a reason for his "oddness" (other ethnic background).

Tehran just like many big cities is attractive for People from poorer countries. In Kurdistan of Iraq you can already find some Tamils and Georgians working in Supermarkets and airports.

The first guy looks like an Afro-Iranian. They are concentrated in the southern coast region (Bandar Abbas).

You raise a good point, Tehran is a mega city (like New York, Paris, Beijing, Tokyo) and is home to people of different backgrounds, many of which are foreigners there looking for jobs and opportunities.

This girl though, despite looking Indian in movies, looks Iranian in other photos so I think makeup does play a big role for her appearance in Bollywood films.

That is North-Indid made with examples from north West India and eastern Pakistan:
