I am talking about the man in the foreground, of course. :)

Yes, a bit exotic. I also get some Caucasian vibe from him but picture is not that clear tough. Maybe he is from northeastern Anatolia, i am not sure.

He looks Southern Turkish. They have more Arabid types. His eyes are closed, otherwise there's nothing Turanid about him.

His faceshape looks flat to me...it's not only eyes..and his jaw bones are prominent ..

Well he has that "hawk" face, if you know what I mean :p I have associated this look with central Asia, rather than Arabia... :)

I can imagine his profile picture ..

Flat occipitum and hooked nose. The difference between him and an armenoid though, is that he has a roundish big head (brachycephalic) whereas armenoids tend to be on the dolichocephalic (and long faced) side. Also the skin colour, very off for an armenoid, much more befitting to Central Asia. :)

He looks more Central Asian.

Not atypical, but I think the most typical phenotype in Turkey is this:

Aren't there many people with kinda Central Asian phenotype in the region of Adana?

Well he's Turanid + minor Dinaric and he's look is less common but it certainly exists amongst Turks :)

Armenoids are not "dolichocephalic". They are one of the most brachycephalic races on earth, with CI measurements of over 85.

Also, the passerby just happens to be squinting, doesn't look Central Asian to me.

Your teacher is less Turanid than the guy in OP's picture. I believe your teacher's look is more common than the other guy :)

To me, he looks more Moroccan than anything.

Wrong, Southern Turks have no arabid types.

Infact southern & southwestern Turks score most east_asian admixture in Turkey.
Your blessed nordic aryan iranians have much more southwest asian (arabid) admixture than southern Turks have.
