I don't know, it was kind of a 'gut feel' on my part....and, we don't actually know her cephalic index....which can be difficult to discern from photos. I've been surprised by some of Coon's examples in TRoE when he gives their cranial measurements. Some that I would swear are brachy turn out to be meso/dolicho & visa-versa.

Maybe she's one of those "sub-Nordids"--falling somwhere between a Nordid and the more brachycephalic types.

She's certainly not "pure" Nordid--her face is too fleshy and her nose is somwhat snubbed & upturned at the tip.

It would all be so much easier if everyone would just shave their heads and provide mugshots. ;)

The top view that you always see of actual skulls in anthropology texts is, in my mind, the easiest one to use in gauging dolichocephaly, but you naturally never see any celebrities posing thusly. :D

What is the importance.
