Is she Sicilian?
Some people from Palermo and Trapani look like her, but it's not the most typical phenotype on the island by any means.

Either way she is Nordid-Alpine, minor Med.

She looks quite like a med-borreby mix doesn't she?

Kind of. Some Alpine too.

If I hadn't seen the title of the thread, I'd have thought she was Swiss or Austrian most likely. She looks fairly Central European, despite that I know she would genetically not cluster that way.

She is far from atypical for Southern Italy,i know several girls that look like her.

You think so (that she looks Austrian) because Austrians despite their quite light pigmentation do have more southern features than North/Western Europenas?

Correct.
But to me she doesn't look southern European. She looks Central European.

Knowing she is Sicilian I know people like her exist there. But if you made me place her there or in Germany without giving me any other background info, I'd say Germany. Because to me, I don't see anything that says "Southern Europe" in her that eliminates her from fitting in Northern Europe.

What part of the island is she from (the girl in the original post)? If I had to guess I'd guess Palermo or Trapani, as people there often are lighter with more Northern influences.

In Messina, for instance, she would actually be atypical. But not so much in Trapani.

Awesome. I was good with my prediction.

You'll find light and dark types everywhere on the island but in general if I see someone who looks Northern influenced or Western European I'll think they are from Trapani or Palermo, and if I see someone very Greek looking I'll guess them from Messina, Catania, Syracuse, Enna, or Ragusa.

I am usually correct. :D

She's pretty. Basically an Atlanto-Pontid type.

In other pictures I think Anna Valle looks a lot like Angie Harmon, who is Irish-Greek.
