What's the typical food and beverage of your country/region? Both the eaten daily than more exquisite dishes.

Here in São Paulo the most important meal is the lunch, we eat rice with beans everyday, generally accompanied with salad and beef. As also we eat pasta, lasagna, pizza, chicken, feijoada(black beans with pig meat). Barbecue is also very common here.
We drink a lot of coffee (São Paulo is the biggest coffee producer of Brazil), always strong (much coffee powder) and hot, drunk in little doses.
The most popular alcoholic beverage is cachaça(cashassa), it's made of destilated sugarcane juice, very used to make caipirinha (cachaça, lemon juice and sugar). The most popular non-alcoholic beverage is the guaraná soda, a soda made with a typical fruit of Amazônia (São Paulo isn't within Amazonia, just to explain).
